The gear that makes a drone command center work

Operator console: where the mission gets flown
A pilot or sensor operator spends the whole shift at this position, usually watching several screens at once. Video wall: the picture the whole room shares
Personal screens keep each operator on task, but the team also needs one common view. A wall-mounted monitor grid puts consolidated feeds, a map of the operating area, and airspace or weather up where everyone can see them. A supervisor should be able to read the state of every flight from across the room, without leaning over anyone’s shoulder.

Network rack: the gear behind the room
A command center runs on more than desks and displays. Ground-control computers, network switches, and recording gear need a home that’s secure, organized, and easy to service. The server and network rack keeps all of it in one ventilated, cable-managed place, which matters when a program records every flight and can’t afford loose wiring behind the consoles.

On their own, a console, a video wall, and a rack are just equipment. What turns them into a command center is how they work together.
